Using other brand rechargeable batteries with duracell charger?

I have purchased a duracell charger which came with 2 NiMH duracell rechargeable batteries (1700 mAH).
Now as these batteries last only 180-190 shots in digi cam(Kodak Z740) I want to buy another pair of rechargeable batteries..
While hunting for the same in the market, I found enerziser batteries were cheaper in price and high in power (2100 mAH @ 5.5£ - 4 cells) as compared to duracell (1700 mAH @ 8.5£ - 4 cells), so my ques is can I charge enerziser batteries in duracell charger… The charger contains a warning to charge only duracell batteries… One more thing, my charger came with 1700 mAH batteries, does that means i can’t charge high capacity (2100 mAH) batteries with it…

The charger should work it will just take a slight amount of time longer to charge. But make sure the Batt is a rechargeable one and of the same type. You don’t want to use a NiMh charger for Ni Cad batts unless it is able to charge these as well check the back for a warning. if you want to for sure check with the charger manufacture for details.
